Miigen Support

The security of your data is our Number 1 priority and we implement a wide range of security measures to protect it.

Password Protection
We are all familiar with passwords as they are required for all accounts that you create on your computers and on the Internet. At Mii-VAULT we require that you provide at least an 8-character password comprising numbers, upper case, lower case and special characters such as an exclamation mark. See our FAQ's on Creating Strong Passwords and Pass Phrases.

Security Questions
We ask you to provide answers to three security questions. These responses are critical for validating your identity and getting support from Mii-VAULT with respect to forgotten passwords and accidental locking of your account.

Two Factor Authentication
Also known as 2FA, Two Factor Authentication is an optional security level that requires you to enter a unique code, in addition to your password, which is created on your mobile phone when you log in to your account.

Secure SSL
We have an Extended Validation SSL Certificate - See the lock by the https:// in the URL. SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) is the standard security technology for establishing an encrypted link between a web server and a browser. This link ensures that all data passed between the web server and browsers remain private and integral.

Encryption
We use end-to-end encryption to secure your data while it is in transport and while it is stored. Your password is used to create an "Encryption Key" and all of your documents are encrypted with this key. This means that your documents are unreadable without the key so that even we, at Mii-VAULT, cannot read the documents that you store with us.

Penetration Testing
We regularly employ penetration testing services to try to hack Mii-VAULT both externally and internally.
